I take every opportunity to share the skills I've picked up over the years, from drawing and story telling to character creation and puppet making, for all ages and abilities.

I’ve created and delivered lots of different workshops, from collage sessions with pre-schoolers, modelmaking and puppet building for all ages, to literacy-focussed character creation and storyboarding with children with special educational needs. I'm happy to be approached with an idea or a goal and create an activity around it.
I’ve visited schools, playgroups, colleges, book stores, museums and libraries to make things or talk about the love of books and stories, the illustration process and working as self-employed within the creative industry.
I’ve made funny models at corporate events for people to have a laugh and blow off steam, I’ve hosted online Q&A sessions and created video content for overseas schools, I’ve even painted an entire school mural to brighten up a brown portacabin classroom, based on children’s ideas and suggestions that we workshopped together (see below, that was one of my favourites!)
I'm always open to discussing new projects so if you'd like to organise a workshop, or have a creative idea that you think I could help with, send the details to jo@jolitchfield.co.uk and I’ll be in touch.
