A work in current development: the first sets, characters and spreads from children's book 'The Best Thing', a bedtime story featuring a mother and child living very simply. The mother tells stories and plays games to make the everyday more magical; the underlying message being you can make the most of what you have, even if that's not a lot.
The main characters are articulated puppets (suitable for animation), their pupils and eyebrows are added digitally to give a better range of expression, and there are painted elements throughout to create the feeling of stories within a story.
